Martha Maldonado

Our beautiful, loving, caring sister Martha Linda Bermea Maldonado was born in Crystal City, Texas on February 13, 1949 to Maria and Hermenejildo Maldonado Sr.
Martha Linda grew up in La Pryor, Texas where she attended La Pryor Elementary and La Pryor High School where she graduated in 1967. She then attended Southwest Texas Junior College where she earned her A.A. She then entered Sul Ross State University where she earned her B.A. degree. Linda started her teaching career of 37 years in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Linda loved teaching and life with a passion. She also loved reading and traveling. When she couldn't travel physically, she would travel in her mind by reading all kinds of books.
Our beloved "Tita" passed away on May 17, 2016.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother; Maria Bermea Maldonado.
Survived by father; Hermenejildo Maldonado Sr.; brothers, Hermenejildo Maldonado Jr. (Herman) of La Pryor, Dr. Ronald E. Zawacki Maldonado of Eagle Pass; sisters, Guadalupe Norma Maldonado and Edna Maldonado both of Eagle Pass; nephews, Hermenejildo Maldonado III and Anthony Maldonado of La Pryor; nieces, Maria Dominique Maldonado, Gabriella Casteneda and Samantha Castro all of La Pryor; sister in law, Patricia Castro of La Pryor.
We are all so lucky and so blessed to have had Linda in our lives.
