Martin Flores

Martin Alejandro Flores, 52 of La Pryor passed away August 5, 2017 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. Martin was born on September 22, 1964, in Uvalde to Evangelina (Zamora) and Juan Flores. He married Becky King on May 26, 1984 in La Pryor.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years of La Pryor, three daughters, Lorie Denise Flores and partner, Marcos De La Cruz of Uvalde, Sarah Elizabeth Flores of La Pryor and Megan Yvonne Balcazar and husband, Margarito Jr. of La Pryor; two sisters, Delia Gonzales and husband, Carlos of Bloomington and Adelita Ripley and husband Arlo of San Antonio; two brothers, Serapio Flores and wife, Mary Ann of La Pryor and Juan Flores Jr. and wife, Cindy of San Antonio; eleven grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Martin was preceded in death by his father and grandson, Margarito Balcazar III.

A prayer service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at La Pryor Cemetery with Bro. Serapio Flores officiating.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Salazar, Jesse Salazar, Charlie Gonzales Jr. Chon Gonzales, Joe Gonzales, Johnny Flores, Isaac Flores and John David Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be Erin Patino, Derek Alejandro De La Cruz, Achilles Nathaniel Pargas, Gustavo Alexander Pargas, Marcus De La Cruz and Ryan De La Cruz.
