Martina Hernandez

Martina Martha Hernandez passed away on October 15, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 88. She was born on February 25, 1922 in Knippa, TX to Joaquin and Florentina Martinez Perez. She is survived by four daughters, Frances Diaz Guadalupe Garza and husband, Oswaldo and Esther Martinez and husband, Miguel all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Leonor Sanchez and husband, Manuel of Paduah, WA three sons, Manuel Hernandez of Goodland, KS and Paul Hernandez and wife, Aida and Jimmy Hernandez all of Uvalde one sister, Victoria Torres of Uvalde 19 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgrandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Manuel Hernandez two sons, Mike and Arnold Hernandez two brothers, Ramon Perez and Joaquin Perez, Jr. and two sisters, Julia Moreno and Maria Garcia. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
