Mary Lucille Bingham of La Pryor passed away on November 12, 2018 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born on February 23, 1930 in La Pryor to Julia (Abele) and Robert Bond. She married Gene Bingham in La Pryor on March 23, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mary loved hunting arrowheads with her sisters, family, and friends. She also enjoyed bowling, fishing, play "42", sewing, and serving her church. She was always proud of being a captain of her high school basketball team and liked to brag that they never lost a game. She is survived by a son, Curtis Bingham and wife, Susan of Bryan, TX; daughter, Sherry Lenamon and husband, Starley of Leakey; grandchildren, Melanie Kring, Nathan Kring and wife, Dawn; stepgrandchildren, Layla Christensen and husband, Steve, Derek Hodges and wife, LeAnn; great grandchildren, William Howard, Emma Carson, Tyler Kring, and Cora Kring; step great-grandchildren, Schyler, Tyler, and Kacey Christensen; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and eight siblings, Charlene Edwards, Pauline Miller, Helen Deal, Margie Bostic, Mildred Tergerson, and Kenneth, Ted, and "Bud" Bond. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in La Pryor with burial following in La Pryor Cemetery. Rev. Dan Bliss will officiate.
