Mary Gobert

Mary Elizabeth Gobert, 84, of Utopia passed away on February 9, 2008 at the Hondo Health Care Nursing Home. She was born on September 26, 1923 in Eunice, LA to Henry and Mary Wilfer Jacobs. She married Milton Joseph Gobert, Sr. on May 28, 1938 in Orange, Texas. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1998. She is survived by a son, Milton Gobert, Jr. and wife, Pat of Utopia; three grandchildren, Matt Gobert and wife, Rhonda; Valerie Moore and husband, Ernie; and Monty Gobert and wife, Shari; and six great-grandchildren, Cody; Shelby; Kelsey; Kristin; Chase; and Jake all of Utopia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jimmy Gobert; sister, Dorothy Martin; brother, Waverly Jacobs; and two great-grandchildren, Dustin Gobert and Kimber Moore. Graveside services for Mary Gobert will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 9:00 AM in Jones Cemetery, Utopia, TX. Mr. Charles Paul Stephens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Willard Boy Jacobs; Troy Jacobs; Richard Jacobs; Willard Jake Jacobs; Ernie Moore; and Eddie Howard.
