Mary Mills

Mary H. Mills of Uvalde passed away on July 16, 2015 in San Antonio at the age of 49. She was born on March 10, 1966 in Dimmitt, TX to Martin Vara Maldonado and Cruz Galindo Maldonado. She married Oliver Bryan Mills in Uvalde on April 18, 1992. She is survived by her husband of 23 years; three daughters, Pearl Adriana Maldonado of Uvalde; Lupe Salazar and husband, Javier of Leakey; and Jody Mills-Woolverton of Mabank, TX; two sons, Christopher Bryan Mills and wife, Monique of Lubbock; and James Mills of Athens, TX; three sisters, Margarita Ibarra; Delia Perez; and Patricia Maldonado, all of California; grandchildren, Payton Oliver Maldonado; Jasmine Mills; Destine Mills, and Christopher Mills, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Baptist Temple with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Tony Gruben will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gilardo Galindo; Diego Galindo; Tino Torres, Jr.; Facundo Muniz; Mark Mills; and Jeff Serna. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Wilkinson and David Sansom.
