Mary Ramsey

Mary Lou Ramsey of Uvalde passed away on August 5, 2013 in San Antonio at the age of 85. She was born on August 3, 1928 to George and Amanda Stutte Redhage. She married Frank Allen Ramsey on June 18, 1991 in Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her husband of 22 years daughter, Mary Rebecca Becky Cain Gerdes of Uvalde: son, Charles M. Chuck Cain III and wife Carol, of Seguin stepsons, Randall R. Ramsey and Ramsay A. Ramsey, both of College Station grandchildren, Chandler Elise Cain Charles M. Chase Cain IV Rebecca Michelle Noble and husband, Matthew and Travis Matthew Gerdes and wife, Sarah greatgrandchildren, Hayden James Noble and Hudson Cain Noble stepgrandchildren, Lezlie Ayn Ramsey and Ramsay A. Ramsey II sisters, Rachel Kracht of Tyler, TX Mildred Howland and husband, Lester of Rio Hondo, TX Joanna Conklin of Ingram, TX and Margaret Redhage Peggy Kozelski of Lake Charles, LA and countless friends and loved ones. All of member of the Cain and Ramsey families wish to express their love and deepest gratitude to Mary Lous special friend, Esther Uriegas, for their many years of devoted love, friendship, and mutual admiration. The pallbearers were Travis Gerdes, Chase Cain, Wally Lynn, Matt Noble, Ramsay Ramsey, and Randall Ramsey. The family wishes to thank everyone that attended the memorial, and thank you for your expressions of sympathy and support.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery.
