Mary Tidwell

Mary Fay Lee Tidwell of La Pryor passed away on November 11, 2009 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born on October 6, 1921 in Beaver County, Oklahoma to Evert and Frances Lee. She married OL Tidwell in Del Rio, Texas on August 17, 1940. She is survived by one daughter; Joy Williams and husband, John of Vance, Texas; three sons; Olen Tidwell of Camp Wood, Texas; Terry Tidwell of La Pryor, Texas; and Rex Tidwell and wife, Pat of Abilene, Texas; two sister-in-laws; Kittie Lee of Kerrville, Texas; and Elizabeth Lee of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; Adam Welch, Lindsay Patterson, and Roxanne Tidwell; four great grandchildren; Tyler Welch, Isabella Welch, Noah Patterson and Isaiah Tidwell; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Sophia Lee and Opal Chitwood, four brothers; Clyde Lee, Loyd Lee, Floyd Lee, and O.W. Jack Lee. Visitation will be on Friday at 11:00 Am at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 3:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery.
