Mary Ann Jalomo

Mary Ann Avila Jalomo of Castroville, Texas formerly of Uvalde, Texas passed away on August 18, 2021 at her residence at the age of 85.  She was born on April 10, 1936 in San Antonio to Francisco and Goldie (Bowles) Avila.

She is survived by her husband, Evaristo Jalomo of Castroville, Texas; sons, Michael Longoria and wife, Mary of Florida, Frank Longoria and wife, Nora of Castroville, Sam Longoria and wife, Veronica of San Antonio, John Longoria and wife, Rosie of Converse, David Longoria of San Antonio; and Robert Longoria and wife, Esmie of San Antonio; daughters, Sonia Salas and husband, Richard of San Antonio and Amy Garcia of Uvalde;  21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Fred Marquez.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
