Matilde Alba

Matilde H. Alba of Uvalde passed away on July 31, 2014 at her residence at the age of 60. She was born on July 29, 1954 in Nuevo Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus T. Hernandez and Victoria Carrillo. She married Israel Alba in Piedras Negras, Mexico. She is survived by her husband of Uvalde daughter, Guadalupe Alba Chatter and husband Ted of San Antonio sons, Israel Alba Jr., Eduardo E. Alba and companion Elsa Cruz and Luis B. Alba and companion, Yancy Marmolejo all of Uvalde sisters, Ana M. Hernandez, Guadalupe H. Wise and Rosalia H. Baumguard all of Worthington, Minnesota brother, Luis S. Hernandez of Uvalde grandson, Sabino A. Chatter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Matilde Alba Hernandez and brother, Melchor G. Hernandez. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
