Matthew Mchazlett Jr.

Matthew McHazlett Jr. of La Pryor passed away on January 24, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 66. He was born on April 15, 1945 in La Pryor, Texas to Matthew Gonzales and Emma Martinez McHazlett. He married Lenora Sue Andrews in San Antonio on October 5, 1963. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, mother, Emma McHazlett of La Pryor daughter, Lisa Monett McHazlett Ermis and husband Glen of Orange Grove, Texas son, Matthew Andrew McHazlett and wife Janna, of Burnet, Texas brother, Dwight McHazlett and wife Alice of La Pryor grandchildren, Christopher Paul Naegelin, Alfred Matthew Naegelin, Matthew Corbin McHazlett, Morgan James McHazlett, Jared Austin McHazlett, Holt Logan Ermis, and Ty Joseph Ermis and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Matthew G. McHazlett. A rosary will be held on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery.
