Max Amann Jr.

Mr. Max Walter Amann Jr. of Utopia passed away on February 13, 2009 in Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 91. He was born on November 13, 1917 in San Antonio, Texas to Max Walter and Laura Helen Amann. He married Lois Garrett in San Antonio, Texas. He is survived by two sons; Scott Amann and wife Kathie of Houston, Texas; Stacy Amann and wife Lanelle of Smithville, Texas; brother; Willard Amann and wife Clarice of Kerrville, Texas; Sister-in-law; Martha Sybert of Boerne, Texas; brother-in-law; Bud Garrett and wife Nada of Utopia; granddaughter; Mindy Smith and husband Todd of San Antonio, Texas; grandson; Brent Amann and wife Melissa of Bryan, Texas; two great grandchildren; Kamryn Carter Amann; Campbell Brynn Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lois Garrett Amann; parents; and brother William Amann. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Utopia Baptist Church in Utopia, Texas with burial to follow in Waresville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Everette Boyce, Wayne Canion, Skip Doerr, Rip Duke, Sam Duke, and Frank Jones III Memorials may be made to any Utopia Church or service organization.
