Maxine Sweeten

Maxine Modell Routh Sweeten of Uvalde passed away on November 30, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. She was born on March 4, 1922 in Vance, Texas to George Hansell and Zulla Cox Routh. She married Clifton Lewis Sweeten in Uvalde, Texas on August 16, 1941. She is survived by three sons Darwin Lewis Sweeten of Bandera, Texas Randall Levon Sweeten and wife, Debra Kay of Carrizo Springs, Texas and Charles Gaylon George Sweeten of Uvalde, Texas one brother Winn Harvel Routh and wife, Judy of Uvalde, Texas two sisterinlaws Ruth Rawlings of Uvalde, Texas and Pat Sweeten of Campwood, Texas one brotherinlaw C.A. Sweeten of Bastrop, Texas five grandchildren Jocylyn Schelske of Santa Clarita, CA Roger Damon Lewis Sweeten and Priscilla Sweeten both of San Antonio, Texas Sara Maxine Sweeten and Clifton Weldon Sweeten both of Carrizo Springs, Texas nine great grandchildren Dillon, Dustin, and Gavin Schelske Ashley Sweeten Jaelyn, Janae and Jianna Thomas Brylee Mae and Blake Lewis Sweeten one greatgreat grandchild numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Lewis Sweeten brother Hansel Wayne Routh and wife Imogene half sister Dimple Routh Dalton Speck. Graveside services will be held on Saturday December 4, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery.
