Merced Gonzales Sr.

Merced Gonzales Sr. of Uvalde passed away on January 7, 2008 at his residence in Uvalde at the age of 75. He was born on September 24, 1932 in Sabinas Coahuila, Mexico to Agapito and Odelia Gonzales. He is survived by daughters; Carmen Gonzales of Uvalde, Tx.; Toni Padilla of Abilene,Tx.; Patricia Chavez of Sabinal, Tx.; sons; Jose Arredondo of San Angelo, Tx.; Merced Gonzales Jr. of Campwood, Tx.; Juan Antonio Gonzales of El Campo, Tx.; Arturo Arredondo of San Angelo, Tx.; Pedro Arredondo and Richard Arredondo both of Uvalde, Tx.; and Juan Arredondo of Nebraska; brother; Salvador Gonzales of Uvalde, Tx.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Herminia Y. Gonzales; and son; Bernardo Arredondo. A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Inc.
