Micaela Arredondo

Micaela Moreno Arredondo of Uvalde passed away on September 19, 2014 at her residence at the age of 79. She was born on September 30, 1934 in Rio Bravo, Coahuila, Mexico to Rafael and Micaela Garcia Moreno. She married Gilberto Aguilera Arredondo in Uvalde on February 8, 1953. She is survived by her husband of 61 years of Uvalde daughter, Rachel GonzalesHanson and husband Jimmy of Uvalde sons, Gilberto Arredondo Jr. and wife Soroya of Leakey, Lee Arredondo and companion Diane Wooten of Uvalde, and Pete Arredondo and wife Sofia of Laredo ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren daughterinlaw Stephanie Arredondo sisterinlaws, Guadalupe Moreno, Elida Moreno and Tanizlada Moreno and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents son, Ray Arredondo sisters, Maria E. Flores, Maria De Jesus Garza, Francisca Briseo and Blanca Vara brothers, Rafael Moreno, Horacio Moreno and Pedro Moreno. A rosary will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joaquin Diaz, Jim Diaz, Mando Gonzales, Derrick Cardenas, Diego Cardenas and Justin Arredondo
