Michael Schaefer

Michael Ray Schaefer of Uvalde passed away on December 25, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 55. He was born on October 10, 1955 in Hondo to William and Patricia Clower Schaefer. He married Sylvia Gonzales on May 21, 2006 in Uvalde. He is survived by his wife of four years parents daughter, Amanda Schaefer of Uvalde three sons, Justin and Stephen Schaefer, both of Houston and Joshua Schaefer of Uvalde four sisters, Vicki Kring of Knippa Tricia Van Pelt and Judy Gutierrez, both of Sabinal and Laura Richarz of Utopia and numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 2:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in the Sabinal Cemetery. Rev. Robert Richarz will officiate. Pallbearers will be Charlie Mendeke Ricky Valdez Mike Villarreal Bob Cook Tony Salas and Armando Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon McCutcheon Buddy Burgess Eloy Garza Juan Maldonado Beau Watkins James Earl Bryce and Don Gass. Memorial donations may be made to the Living Waters Church, PO Box 534, Utopia, TX 78884 or to the charity of ones choice.
