Miguel Ramos

Miguel Davila Ramos of La Pryor passed away on April 21, 2014 at his residence at the age of 66. He was born on September 28, 1947 in La Pryor to Rito and Maria Davila Ramos. He married Rosa Elva Najera on November 6, 1971 in La Pryor. He is survived by his wife of 42 years daughter, Monica M. Paul and husband Kevin all of La Pryor sons, Luis Miguel Ramos and companion Angelica Rangel of Hondo, and Saul D. Ramos and wife Olga Leticia of La Pryor sisters, Paula Salazar of La Pryor and Apolonia Tenorio and husband Rey of Danbury grandchildren, Ezekiel Velasquez and wife Nikita, Danielle Velasquez, Gabrielle Velasquez, Kiersten Paul, Keshawn Paul, Reyna Ramos, Isaiah Ramos, Peter Rangel, Alicia Ramos, Saul Ramos Jr., Jesse James Ramos, Yuliana Ramos, Daniella Ramos, Carlos Ramos, Jose Contreras Jr., and Alejandra Contreras and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents sister, Juanita Tovar and brother, Domingo Ramos. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Bermea, Arnold Hernandez, Eloy Saldivar Jr., Angelo Garcia, Rey Tenorio Jr., Eddie Najera, Isaac Mendoza and Ernie Esquibel.
