Mike Gary

Kenneth Ray Mike Gary of Utopia passed away on April 18, 2014 in San Antonio at the age of 86. He was born on December 29, 1927 in Staton, TX to Ray Tilford and Alta Celia Anderson Gary. He is survived by three sisters, Emma Lorraine Bomer and Patricia Ann Bomer, both of Utopia and Sharon Rae Gary of Sabinal a stepson, Joe Waldrop and wife, Shirley of Bartlesville, OK 2 grandchildren, 3 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews, greatgreatnieces and greatgreatnephews. He was preceded in death by his parents wife, Neva Jewell Gary brother, George Melvin Toby Gary and two sisters, Margaret Lydia Rose Bomer, and Wilma Loretta Upchurch. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Batesville Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate. Pallbearers will be Slade Bomer, Lonnie Bomer, Ray Berry, Tommy Hancock, Bob Bomer, Ben Bomer, Toby Bomer, and Buddy Berry. Honorary pallbearers will be Alvis Cardwell, Fritz Coleman, Howard Collins, Jackie Rumfield, Jimmy White, Gary Bomer, and Bo Simpson.
