Mike Torres

Mike Rodriguez Torres of Knippa passed away on June 11,2021 at his residence at the age of 63. He was born on June 19,1957 in Houston, Texas to Raul E. Torres and Ramona Rodriguez.

He married Victoria Lynn Richards on November 21,1986 in Kerrville, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Lynn Torres of Knippa, Texas; mother, Ramona Torres of Uvalde, Texas; daughters, Christina Marie Torres of Uvalde, Texas, Amanda Torres of Knippa, Texas and Kathlene Torres of Uvalde, Texas; sons, Joshua Michael Torres of Stephenville, Texas and Matthew Allen Torres of Sugar Land, Texas;  brothers, Raul Torres, Jr., Alfred Torres, Oscar Torres, and Albert Torres all of Uvalde, Texas; sisters, Rose Anne Gomez, Irma Torres, Carrie Torres and Dora Rodriguez all of Uvalde, Texas; 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raul E. Torres.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 15,2021 at 12:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16,2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua M. Torres, Raul Torres, III, Ricardo Gomez, Sean Rodriguez, Brian Rodriguez, and Alfred Torres, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Duncan Torres, Carrie Torres, Isaiah Wright, and Zaiden Ybarra.
