Mildred L. Massey

Mildred L. Massey,92, passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on December 25, 2024, in Uvalde, Texas. 

She was born on September 17, 1932 to Bessie May (Davis) and David Hoisington. She was a cherished figure in her family and community, known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit.

Mildred's legacy is carried on by her beloved daughter, Lillian Kniep of Uvalde, and her devoted son, Charles Massey, Jr. of Uvalde. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren, who brought joy and purpose to her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Charley Massey. 

A graveside service will be held in her honor on December 30, 2024, at Knippa Cemetery, located at 11149 US-90, Knippa, TX 78870. The service will commence at 2:00 PM, concluding at 3:00 PM.

Mildred L. Massey will be remembered not only for her role as a loving mother and grandmother but also for the warmth she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a profound impact that will resonantly echo in the hearts of her family and friends.
