Monty Henson

Monty Brent Henson of Uvalde passed away on June 13, 2012 in Junction at the age of 53. He was born on August 8, 1958 in Plainview, TX to Kenneth and Ann Hickerson Henson. He resided in Uvalde for over 30 years. He is survived by his mother, Ann Henson brother, Bart Henson and wife, Mary sister, Kenda Willoughby and husband, Trae and three nephews, Sam and Noah Willoughby and KD Henson. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Henson. Brent worked hard for many years as a counselor to young adults dealing with addiction. More recently, he became a truck driver. Driving tractor trailers and working with horses were two of his greatest loves. His quiet nature and love of anything sweet will be missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
