Nancy Adelle Knox Morrow, 84, of Magnolia, TX passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the family's ranch near Concan, TX, surrounded by much of the family. She was born on March 24, 1936 in Cameron County, TX to William Glen and Eunice Adelle Knox. Nancy graduated from San Benito High School and attended Abilene Christian College where she married her childhood friend and high school sweetheart, Lawrence Edward Morrow.
Nancy was a very talented, artistic person that excelled in cooking, crafts, painting, sewing, and quilting. Many years for Easter she would make hand painted confetti eggs for the kids to break, but some of the adults would go collect them before the kids could break them because they were such beautiful works of art.
She loved animals of all types and had many dogs and cats, and she even rescued a monkey from a crummy traveling carnival and had it for many years. Several times she fostered monkeys that were abandoned by their mothers at a monkey breeding facility.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and two day old daughter Lori Lea. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Lawrence Morrow of Magnolia, TX, children Melinda Ward and husband Steve of Dayton, TX, William Morrow and wife Traci of Marble Falls, TX, and Matthew Morrow and wife Tiffeny of Magnolia, TX.
