On Saturday, April 20, 2019, Heaven became even brighter when Nancy C. Williams left the earth at the age of 73. She was born on October 26, 1945 in Gardendale, Tx to Willie and Lucy (White) Crawford. At the time of her death, Nancy resided at Veranda Senior Living facility in Uvalde. She is survived by her three children, Anna Kay (Smith) Moreno of Uvalde, Richard Allen Williams of San Antonio and Donna Marie Williams, of Uvalde, seven grandchildren, Joseph Moreno, and wife Karina, Jennifer Hernandez, and husband Tim, Armando Moreno, and wife Kadia, Joe Morales, Rebecca Rendon and husband David, Kaitlin Morales and Mariah Gaytan, and eight wonderful great-grandchildren. She was such an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend.
In addition to her own, Nancy helped “raise” many more. She held a very special place in her heart for all the young ladies from Whitestone Children’s Home in Uvalde, where she was a house parent and “MOM” to many. Up until the time of her death, quite a few of the girls still visited, kept in close contact, and were considered her very own.
She was full of wisdom and wisecracks, and loved to laugh out loud. She spoke her mind, and often times, without ever saying a word. Nancy gave her all, in everything, and definitely taught her family the value of hard work. She had a passion for music, and shared it while serving her Lord on the praise and worship team at Trinity Fellowship of Uvalde.
If you knew Nancy, you absolutely loved her. She had the warmest heart, and a smile that could light up any room. She LOVED unconditionally, and made everyone feel like family. She had so many challenges in life, yet she never let any of them keep her down, and always found ways to encourage others. What an inspiration! She will be remembered for her overwhelming amount of courage, strength and perseverance, and we can rest assured that she is fully restored, in every way possible, and is dancing in the sky.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Nancy, then it is certain that she made a difference in your life, encouraged you, and truly made you feel loved, and for that, we are ALL blessed.
