Natividad Fuentes Sr.

Natividad Fuentes Sr. of Uvalde passed away on July 31, 2008 in Uvalde Healthcare Rehab at the age of 86. He was born on September 8, 1921 in Knippa, Texas to Eulalio and Sara Fuentes. He married Marina Lara on January 1, 1942 in Uvalde, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marina L. Fuentes of Uvalde, Texas; one daughter; Rosario Fuentes of Uvalde, Texas; four sons; Natividad Fuentes Jr. and wife, Minerva of Uvalde, Texas; Oscar Fuentes and wife, Graciela of Laredo, Texas; Joel Fuentes and wife, Luz Maria of Austin, Texas; and Eddie Alvarado and wife, Olga of Hondo, Texas; two sisters; Eva Mireles and Otilia Carabajal of California; one brother; Pedro Fuentes of San Angelo, Texas; grandchildren; David Fuentes; Richard Fuentes and wife, Rocio; John Perez Jr. and wife, Barbara; Daniel Perez and wife, Crystal; Spc. Christopher Perez; Paul Brock; Jaime Fuentes; Kristina Guzman and husband, Charles; Cynthia Zamora and husband, Carlos; Sonya Alvarado; Joel Fuentes Jr. and Joseph Fuentes; great grandchildren; Xavier Fuentes; Jared and Jay Perez; Daniel Jr. and Stephen Perez; Christian Guzman; Carlos Jr. and Samantha, Oscar and Karla Zamora. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Father Wieslaw Iwaniec will officiate.
