Nell Mortensen

Nell Mortensen of Uvalde passed away on December 29, 2011 in Austin at the age of 78. She was born on March 8, 1933 in Bermuda, TX to Clarence and Marie Ayers Tollett. She married James E. Mortensen in Carrizo Springs on June 25, 1950. She is survived by her husband of 61 years two daughters, Peggy Wiebush and husband, Le Moey of San Antonio and Paula Mortensen of Uvalde one son, Tim Mortensen and wife, Diana of Austin sister, Virginia Robson of Longview, TX brother, Jackson Tollett of Carrizo Springs five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents son, Jon Steven Mortensen sister, Bettye Lancaster and brother, J.R. Tollett. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
