Nicholas Alvarez of Uvalde, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at age of 37
Nicholas was born on April 10, 1985 in Carrizo Springs to Juan Manuel and Margarita Salas.
He married Monica Frausto on May 8, 2020 in Uvalde, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Monica Alvarez of Uvalde; three daughters, Justice Alvarez, Alexis Cardenas and Araya C. Ruiz all of Uvalde; four sons, Nickalai Alvarez of Uvalde, Nicholas Alvarez of San Antonio, Adrian Cardenas of San Antonio and Aidian Cardenas of Uvalde; father, Juan Manuel Alvarez of Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Maria and Max Alvarez III of Uvalde; three sisters, Samantha Alvarez of Natalia, Juliana Botello and Estrella Alvarez both of Uvalde; three brothers, Juan Alvarez and Xavier Alvarez both of Uvalde and Miguel Salas of Natalia; three grandchildren Iymaris Camacho, Anaya Ruiz and Messiah Cardenas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Salas, sister, Elia Crystal Padilla and aunt, Susana Alvarez.
Visitation for Nicholas will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral services will on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles. With interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frank Alvarez, Martin Garcia Jr. Anthony Alvarez Jr. Xavier Alvarez, Jerry Leal Jr. Jeremy Leal, Alfred Hernandez, Juan Alvarez Jr. Miguel Salas, Jose Ruiz, Ricky Perez and Carlos Romero.
