Noel Scott

Noel Eugene Scott of Uvalde passed away on November 14, 2016 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 82. He was born on October 21, 1934 in Winfield, Kansas to Robert and Margaret (Waldroupe) Scott.
He married Janet Russell in Bixby, Oklahoma and has been married for over 39 years. He served in the US Army for over 27 years and was ranked MSG-E8 when he retired on June 1, 1979.
He is survived by his wife of Uvalde; sisters, Norma Troubough of Burden, Kansas and Nova Buell and husband, Robert of Willis, Texas; Steven Scott of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughters, Deborah Ragusa and husband, Donald of Houston, and Julie Scott of Temple Terrace, Florida; grandchildren, Carlie Ragusa, Maggie Ragusa and Daniel Ragusa all of Houston; and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Colby Hill, Raul Hernandez, Marvin Hill, Johnny Moreno, David Barboza, and Wendall Johnson
