Nona Whitley

Nona Cox Whitley of Uvalde passed away on September 1, 2008 at her residence at the age of 78. She was born on August 14, 1930 in Reagan Wells, Texas to John and Mona Cox. She married T.L Whitley in Camp Wood, Texas. She is survived by her husband T.L. Whitley of Uvalde, Texas; two daughters; Teresa Coble and husband, Robert and Lola Berger all of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Tobe Whitley of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters; Nellie Williams and husband, Marvin of Camp Wood, Texas; Salley Roberts and husband, Chuby of Uvalde, Texas; two brothers; Fred Cox and wife, Ann and Arthur Cox and wife Ronnie all of Camp Wood, Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Herman John Cox. A Memorial Service will be held on September 13, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM.
