Nora Reyes

Nora Elia Barragan Reyes of Uvalde passed away on August 1, 2013 at her residence at the age of 58. She was born on July 18, 1955 in Reynosa,Tamaulipas, Mexico to Roberto and Olivia Guajardo Barragan. She married Baldemar Reyes on July 16, 1977 in McAllen, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 36 years mother daughters, Lori Reyes of San Antonio, Laura Perez and husband Eloy of Cibolo son, David Reyes of Dallas sisters, Rosa Santana of Grand Prairie, Sonia Barragan, Mary Lou Cervantes, Gloria Calderon all of McAllen, Olivia Egemba of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sylvia Perez of Phoenix, Arizona, and Estella Guerra of Arlington brothers, Joe Barragan of Houston, Carlos Barragan of Ft. Myer Beach, Florida, Roberto Barragan of Pharr and Victor Barragan of Mission one granddaughter, Isabella Marie Perez, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard House, Julio Valdez, Richard Williams, Ron Miller, David LaMascus, Marc Rogers, Paul Kimble, and Hector Luevano. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Uvalde Hospice, 1038 Garner Field Rd., Uvalde, Texas 78801 or the charity of ones choice.
