Norma Diaz

Norma Trevino Diaz of Hondo, formerly of Uvalde passed away on January 10, 2023 at her residence at the age of 59.
She was born on April 12, 1963 in Uvalde to Florencia (Trevino) and Abel C. Diaz.
She is survived by her two sisters, Anna Maria Rincon and husband, Robert Rodriguez Rincon of Hondo and Victoria Diaz Briones and husband, Fidencio Briones of La Pryor; three brothers, Abel Diaz, Jr. and wife, Annie Morse of Uvalde, Alberto Diaz of Houston, and Arnoldo Diaz and wife, Gloria Diaz of San Antonio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Able C. Diaz and Florencia T. Diaz.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Rincon, Ryan Rincon, Ruben Rincon, Robert Rincon, III, Deallan Pamatian, Brandon Rincon, and Tony Garcia
