Norma Rangel

Norma Rangel of La Pryor passed away at her residence in La Pryor on June 17, 2014 at the age of 54. She was born March 4, 1960 in Cuidad Acuna, Mexico to Hermilo and Josefina Gomez Rangel. She is survived by her mother Josefina Rangel of Uvalde, daughters Monica A. Pineda and husband Alfred, Erica Aguilar and husband Fermin Rivera both of Uvalde and Lety Velasquez and companion Billy Pounders of La Pryor, sons Ruben Aguilar and Francisco Velasquez and companion Katie Gonzales all of Uvalde, sisters Fina Garcia and Sylvia Rangel and companion Juan Ibarra all of Uvalde, brothers Casimiro Rangel and wife Rachel, Milo Rangel and companion Patti Bonin, Manuel Rangel and wife Liz, Robert Rangel and wife Debbie, Javier Rangel and wife Maria, Richard Rangel and wife Carmen, Jesus Garcia and wife Leticia all of Uvalde and Jesus Isaiz and wife Maricela of Bryan, TX, sixteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and son Israel Aguilar, Jr. A rosary will held on Wednesday and Thursday on June 18th and 19th at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary at 7:00pm. A funeral mass will held on Friday, June 20th at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Casimiro Rangel, Manuel Rangel, Milo Rangel, Javier Rangel, Richard Rangel, Robert Rangel, Jesus Garcia and Jesus Isaiz. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and sisters.
