Octaviano Hernandez

Octaviano D. Hernandez of Uvalde passed away on August 19, 2011 in San Antonio at the age of 65. He was born on April 14, 1946 in Piedras Negras Coahuila to Octaviano and Maria Teresa De Leon Hernandez. He married Fe Aguilar on November 21, 1969 in Eagle Pass, Texas. He is survived by his wife and daughters Elisa Hernandez of Austin, and Patricia Hill and husband Eric of Uvalde sisters Lydia Equia and husband Joe of Kerrville, Rosa Alderete and husband Tony of Corpus Christi, Elida Cuellar of Brownwood, Teresa Hernandez and husband Steve, Irma Hernandez and husband John Montemayor all of Hondo, brother Jose Amador Hernandez of Sabinal, grandchild, Tara I. Hill and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Joanne Robles and Leticia Hernandez and brother Francisco Hernandez. A rosary will be held on Saturday August 20, 2011 and Sunday August 21, 2011 at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held on Monday August 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
