Oleta Roberson

Oleta Roberson of Sabinal passed away on February 12, 2010 in Spohn Hospital, Corpus Christi, at the age of 96. She was born on May 16, 1913 in Asherton to Abraham Benjamin and Annie Mae Bailey Rankin. She is survived by a daughter, Rozine Thompson of Corpus Christi sister, Opal Wall of Sabinal three grandchildren, Kaylynn Curry and husband, Dan Brad Thompson and Fred Trey Thompson III and wife, Andrea and four greatgrandchildren, Sara Curry Kelsey Curry Noah Thompson and Dane Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.E. Pete Roberson parents soninlaw, Fred Thompson, Jr. and three sisters, Doris Shofner, Ruby Anglin, and Winona Cronenberger. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in the Sabinal Cemetery. Rev. Monty Benson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brad Thompson Trey Thompson Dan Curry Santiago Contreras Don Shofner and Ray Henry.
