Olga Quesada Cruz of Uvalde passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital June 3, 2014 at the age of 84. She was born on November 21, 1929 in Laredo to Julian and Manuela Lara Quesada. She is survived by her daughters, Olga C. Reyes, Lucy C. Sandoval and husband Gilbert all of Uvalde and Pamela C. Smithwick and husband William of Edinburg brother, Oscar Quesada of Albuquerque, New Mexico sister, Elia Palos of Corpus Christi 9 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren 2 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulalio M. Cruz son, Eulalio Cruz Jr parents brothers, Julian Lara Quesada, Artemio Quesada and Jose Quesada and sister, Odelia Quesada Cruz. A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Sandoval, Gilbert Sandoval Jr., Roland Reyes Sr., Roland Reyes Jr., Tony Luna and Frank Cruz Jr.
