Olga Rivera

Olga R. Rivera of Uvalde passed away on May 2, 2014 at the age of 83. She was born on November 15, 1930 in Monclova, Coahuila Mexico to Maria de Refugio Rodriquez and Eulalio Palomarez. She married Fidencio Rivera in Monclova, Coahuila Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Fidencio Rivera eight daughters, Luz Alicia Martinez and husband Tony, Silvia R. Ruiz, Rebecca Rivera, Delia Aviles and husband Adam, Sulema Flores, Ester Rodriquez and companion Jaime Cortez, Susana Rivera all of Uvalde and Ida Smylie of New Braunfels, Texas: two sons, Fidencio Rivera and wife Elsa and Fernando Rivera and wife Susie all of Uvalde two brothers, Andres Rodriquez and Jose Rodriquez both from Monclova, Mexico daughter in law, Estella Rivera of Uvalde thirtyfour grandchildren, sixtythree great grandchildren, one greatgreat grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Olgita Rivera and Juanita Rivera son Fermin Rivera and son in law, Sam Flores. A prayer service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fidencio Rivera III, Jeremiah Martinez, Gilbert Rodriquez, Ricardo Ruiz, Fernando Rivera Jr., Daniel Gonzales, Adrian Aviles, Fermin Rivera Jr. and Nathan Flores. Honorary Pallbearers will be her daughters.
