Olivia Hinojosa

Olivia Rosales Hinojosa, 83, of Uvalde passed away on December 3, 2023 At Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

She was born on February 18, 1940, in Uvalde, Texas to Josefa (Rosales) and Isaac Hinojosa.

She is survived by her daughters, Nora Martinez and husband Juan of Uvalde, Rosalva H. Gomez and companion David Suarez of Uvalde, sons; Alberto I Acevedo and wife Claudia of Uvalde, Jose A Hinojosa and companion Cindy Morones of Hondo, grandchildren; Juan H. Martinez, Jackie M. Sanchez, Rodolfo Gomez, Celeste Acevedo, Albert Acevedo Jr. Miguel Rodriguez Jr.  Isabela H. Rodriguez, Jerrold Hinojosa, Jon Anthony Charles, great-grandchildren; Jaxson Martinez, Jubilee Sanchez, Aiden Gomez, Jillian Martinez, Justice Martinez, Aidan Hunter, Greyson Gomez, and Noah Gomez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister; Lydia H. Reyes, brothers; Roberto Hinojosa, Fortunato Hinojosa and Antonio Hinojosa.

Visitation will begin on Monday, December 11^th at 12 pm followed by a rosary at 7 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday Dec. 12^th at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will Juan H. Martinez, Rodolfo Gomez, Miguel Rodriguez, Albert Acevedo Jr., Albert Acevedo Sr., and Jon Anthony Charles.
