Olivia Reavis

Olivia Lee Reavis, 86, of Sabinal, Texas died Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

She was born on July 8, 1937, in Longview, Texas to Willie (Johnson) and Odis Childers.

She married Ira Lee Reavis on February 11, 1961 in Odessa, Texas.

She was a homemaker and Baptist.  She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, G’ma, aunt and friend.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.  She left us with many wonderful memories to cherish. 

She is survived by her daughters, Millie Jackson and husband, Tommy of Pecos and Linda Reavis of Uvalde; two sons, Jake Reavis and wife, Trina of San Angelo and Wesley Reavis and wife, Sylvia of Hondo; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Reavis; parents, Odis and Willie Childers; brother, Donald Childers; son in law, Lanny Oliphant and a great granddaughter, Kayley Jade Jackson.

A memorial service will be held on September 30, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Vance Baptist Church in Vance, Texas. 

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
