Orville Frerich

Orville Wilford Thomas Frerich Brackettville passed away on September 5, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. He was 97 years young. He was born in Gussettville, Texas on November 2, 1914 to Charles and Theresa Ott Frerich. His family moved to Brackettville in December 1918. He was a rancher his entire life, member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and served in the United States Army Air Corp. He is preceded in death by his wife Bernadette of 64 years. He is survived by his sons, Tony Frerich and wife Nancy of Brackettville, Joe Frerich of Eddy, Texas, grandchildren, Toby Frerich and wife Staci of Sinton, Texas, Tammy Parrish and husband Michael of Mason, Texas, Joe Frerich II, Suzanne Frerich and Tommy Frerich of Eddy, Texas, greatgrandchildren, Tristan Frerich of Sinton, Megan Frerich of Sinton, John Preston, Tony Martin Parrish both of Mason, Texas and special friend Lucy Arreola. Pallbearers are Toby Frerich, Michael Parrish, Joe Frerich II, Tommy Frerich, Mark Frerich, Mitch Frerich, Charles Frerich and Tristan Frerich. Honorary pallbearers will be Floyd Frerich, Monroe Frerich, Leon Frerich, Hubert Frerich, Raymond Frerich, Jack Frerich, Freddie Frerich, Alan Frerich, Charles Hoelscher and Bob Nelson. Donations may be made to the Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church Cemetery Fund. A rosary will be held on Friday September 7, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Brackettville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Brackettville. Burial will follow at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
