Oscar Lopez

Oscar T. Lopez of Uvalde passed away on December 6, 2009 in Methodist Specialty Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 50. He was born on June 26, 1959 in Blue Island, Illinois to Julian F. and Manuela Lopez. He married Maria Rios in Uvalde, Texas on April 11, 1981. He is survived by his wife of 28 years Maria R. Lopez of Uvalde, Texas; parents; Manuela Lopez and Julian Lopez both of Uvalde, Texas; one daughter; Cassandra Lopez Hernandez and husband, Hector of Uvalde, Texas; one son; Oscar Lopez Jr. of Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Julian Lopez and wife, Elisa of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 Pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.
