Pascuala Caballero

Pascuala Atayde Caballero of Batesville passed away on May 11, 2017 in San Antonio at the age of 87. She was born on May 17, 1929 in Municipio de Ocampo, Coahuila, Mexico to Juan Atayde and Dolores Sanchez Atayde. She married Gabriel Caballero in 1950 in Boquillas del Carmen, Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 67 years; daughter, Maria Caballero Garza of Batesville; four sons, Teodoso Caballero of Batesville; Francisco Javier Caballero of Tlaxcala, Mexico; Miguel Caballero of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico; and Gabriel Caballero, Jr. of Batesville; sister, Flora Athayde of Presidio; brother, Lucio Manuel Athayde of Municipio de Ocampo, Coahuila Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Maria del Refugio Caballero; and numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery.
