Roann was born in Houston on January 28,1942 to Dr. Mack Daugherty and Eugenia Stevenson Daugherty. She graduated from Lamar High School in Houston.

She faithfully loved and served him until his death. She then got another chance at love with Uvalde Attorney Bob Crawford. They enjoyed visiting grandchildren, teaching Sunday school together, entertaining MANY friends and they hosted the Concan Baptist Sunrise Easter Service at the Big Tree Ranch for several years.
