Paul Gass, Jr.

Paul Irvin Gass, Jr., age 67, of Uvalde died October 23, 2017 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio after a brief illness. He was born on October 30, 1949 in Uvalde to Paul Gass, Sr. and Roberta Hobbs. Paul did ranch work most of his life and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Gass of Uvalde; mother, Roberta Gass of Uvalde; daughter, Tammi Burris and husband, Corey of Castroville; son, Paul Gass III and wife, Cody of Wimberley; grandchildren, Cody and Kyle Burris, and Taylor Gass; sister, Paula Gilleland and husband, Leslie of Sabinal; brother, Mike Gass of Uvalde; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gass, Sr. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Coby Gass, Rusty Maddox, Wayne McBeth, Billy Sheedy, Mark Keeney, and Mike Reilly.
