Paul Schueler

Paul Arthur Schueler of Uvalde,Texas passed away on May 31,2020 at Brook Army Medical Center at the age of 94.  Paul was born on February 28, 1926 in Wood River Illinois to August Schueler and Johanna Loiuse Caroline Schueler (Wille). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1954, which lead to his career in oil exploration.

Paul is survived by his wife, Freda Knippa Schueler of Uvalde, Texas; sons, Karl Schueler and wife Geneva of Laramie, Wyoming and Christopher Paul Schuler and longtime girlfriend Barbara of Houston, Texas; step-sons, Louis Truett and wife Laura of Spicewood, Texas and Laurence Truett and wife Tara of Cypress, Texas; step-daughters, Gina Farmer and husband Russel of Houston, Texas and Jean Fields of Livington, Texas; brothers, Irvin Schueler and wife Margaret of Houston, Texas and Leo Schueler and wife Patricia of Buffalo, Wyoming; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, August Schueler and Johanna Loiuse Caroline Schueler (Wille); first wife, Dorothy Viola Lynch; sister, Ella Roark; brother, Theodore Schueler.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
