Paula Romelia Aguilar

Paula Romelia Aguilar, 91, of Uvalde, peacefully departed this life on November 21, 2024, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. Born on February 20, 1933, in Jimenez, Coahuila, she was the beloved daughter of Leonor (Villareal) and Julio Guerra.

Paula is survived by her sister, Anastacia G. Longoria of Uvalde, along with numerous nieces and nephews, who remember her with love and fondness. She was preceded in death by her cherished parents.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary service beginning at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral Mass to celebrate Paula's life will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
