Paulino Medina Sr.

Paulino Medina Sr. of Sabinal passed away on September 17, 2009 at his residence at the age of 82. He was born on June 22, 1927 in DHanis, Texas to Juan and Francisca Medina. He married Martina Puente in Sabinal on February 6, 1981. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Martina P. Medina of Sabinal, Texas; five daughters; Frances Tellez and husband, Robert of Modesta, CA; Isabel Walker and husband, David; Josie De Leon and husband, Mark; and Jessica Marie Medina all of Sabinal, Texas; and Norie Montanez and husband, Gabriel of Hondo, Texas; two sons; Paulino Medina Jr. and wife, Elsa of Hondo, Texas; and Juan Antonio Medina and wife, Norma of DHanis, Texas; one sister; Isabel Arriola of Sabinal, Texas; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and four sisters. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paulino Medina Jr., Juan Antonio Medina, Gabriel Montanez, David Walker, Mark De Leon, John Robison, Christopher Ballesteros and Raul Arriola Jr.
