Pedro Benitez

Pedro Benitez of La Pryor passed away on August 2, 2014 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on January 28, 1925 in Torreon, Mexico to Jose Maria Benitez and Santos Maria De La Rosa. He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Benitez of Palo Hills, Illinois and Norma Mancias of La Pryor sons, Jerry Benitez, Danny Benitez both of Chicago, Illinois and Terry Benitez of Cotulla 8 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Benitez sister, Juanita De La Rosa and brother, Julian Benitez. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August, 5, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Flo Melendrez, Jerry Benitez, Danny Benitez, Paul Vera, Diana Aguilar and Martha Silva
