Pedro Gaytan

Pedro Z. Gaytan of Uvalde passed away on October 4, 2012 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 62. He was born on March 26, 1950 in Sabinas, Mexico to Rito and Manuela Zavala Gaytan. He married Pauline Fernandez on December 30, 1997. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, daughters, Angela H. Munoz and husband Juan, Paula M. Hernandez and husband Rene R. Flores both of Uvalde sons, John P. Hernandez and wife Norma of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Braulio Gaytan and wife Stephine of Uvalde, Alberto Gaytan of Kingsville and Javier Gaytan of Hawaii grandchildren, Sierrah Nicole Hernandez, Nicholas Hernandez, Christopher Hernadez, Matthew Hernandez, Kesley D. Ramos, Kimberly M. Munoz, Ares M. Flores, Emilangela Gaytan and Braulio Gaytan Jr.. He was preceded in death by his parents sister, Rita Campos granddaughter, Karyme S. Gaytan and daughter in law, Aracely G. Gaytan. A rosary will be held on Monday October 8, 2012 and Tuesday October 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Cremation under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
