Pedro Leos

Pedro Amaya Leos of Sabinal passed away on May 2, 2008 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. He was born on April 22, 1925 in DHanis, Texas to Juan and Ascencion Leos. He married Maria Rodriguez in Sabinal, Texas on April 30, 1949. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Maria R. Leos of Sabinal, Tx.; two daughters; Eva Villasana and Gloria Davis both of Sabinal, Tx.; two sons; Pedro Leos Jr. and wife, Esmeralda of San Antonio, Tx.; and Jorge Leos and wife, Evelyn of Abbotsford, Canada B.C.; three sisters; Hermila Contreras, Soila Rodriguez, and Rosario Nieto all of Sabinal, Tx.; two brothers; Raul Leos and Ervey Leos both of Sabinal, Tx.; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother; Inocencio Leos. A rosary will be held on Saturday, Sunday, Monday at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Patricks Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery.
