Peggy Wood

Peggy Wood of Uvalde passed away on July 23, 2015 at her residence at the age of 64. She was born on July 30, 1950 in San Antonio, TX to Jack Young and Irene McDonald Young. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Kirkham and husband, Eddie of Uvalde; son, Wesley Wood and wife, Raina of California; three grandchildren; three brothers, Douglas Young and wife, Mary of Gonzales, TX; Kyle Young of San Antonio; and Allen Young of Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Wood; and stepmother, Linda Young. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Tim Fahrenthold will officiate.
