Pete Knowles

Pete Knowles of Uvalde passed away on October 28, 2008 at his residence at the age of 86. He was born on October 9, 1922 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Howard and Jimmie Knowles. He is survived by two sons; Howard Knowles and wife, Rhonda of Houston, Texas; and Bryson Knowles and wife, Susan of Concan, Texas; five grandsons; Vance Knowles of Marfa, Texas; Jeff Knowles and wife, Carrie of Houston, Texas; Carter Knowles of Austin, Texas; Reagan Knowles and wife, Sarah of Round Rock, Texas; and Stewart Knowles of Waco, Texas; great grandchildren; Lawson Knowles; Emma Knowles; Bryson Knowles; Mia Jane Knowles; Christopher Hillam; and Noah Eli. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Dovie and a brother; James Howard Knowles. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Regional Cancer Care Medical Center Saving Lives Close To Home 1025 Garner Field Rd. Uvalde, Texas 78801. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Rubenstien, John Ilse, Bob Willoughby, Dr. John Shudde, Dr. Harry Watkins, Bill McWhorter, John Harrell, and the late Phil Hughes.
